Success!!

The perfectly spherical and beautiful mathematical equation that I have been working on for many years now has come to fruition.

This morning at 12:44am I believe I produced a hole in between dimensions. The vortex itself was a light blue arch of electricity no more than 5 millimeters in diameter, it rippled majestically in the lab as I watched on in awe.

The first inter-dimensional traveler was my 2B pencil tip, which when pushed through the vortex disappeared into the hole and could not be seen on the other side.

As I removed the pencil the vortex spluttered and folded in on itself as if to implode, the force of which caused a minor EMP which all disabled the computer equipment within the lab. If the vortex remains this unstable and is only sustainable for short periods of time, a special facility would be required in order to support human travel.

It will take several weeks for me to fix re-create the experiment.
